How to practice Classical Guitar 3.
When playing the classical guitar it is important to keep track of where when and how much we practice. Why is this important? When we practice the classical guitar our brain is dealing with a variety of complex task and also trying to retain new information.
If we practice for too long the brain becomes tired much like a muscle and the overall effectiveness of the practice session starts to dwindle, academic research has clearly shown that learning is most efficient in the twenty to twenty five minute range, anything past this and your ability to perform and retain information drops dramatically. Try to structure your practice routine around short twenty to twenty five minute sessions with small breaks in-between typically five to ten minute or just enough time for a cup of tea, using this method u will find you progress much faster and avoid the dreaded burnout feeling.
